In years when more than one group health insurance option is available, the maximum amount paid by the employing body for the health insurance benefit is limited to the lowest cost health insurance plan available, less any applicable participant cost share.
This means that congregations and conference agencies would pay the cost of our Kaiser Health Insurance plan for eligible participants. Participants enrolling in the Blue Shield Health Insurance plan for 2020 would pay the difference in cost between the two plans from their own financial resources.
