Retiree HRA/ASi Information

Eligible retirees who select individual retirement plans (not employer group plans) will be enrolled in an Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) to help with the cost of premiums, co-pays, deductibles and a host of other expenses.


How the plan works

The HRA is available to assist you with the costs associated with retiree health care. In most cases, you can use your ASi Visa Debit Card; however, if the provider does not accept debit cards, you may have to pay out of pocket and submit a reimbursement to Administrative Solutions Inc. (ASi).

The ASi Debit Card is pre-loaded with an amount based on your years of service with the California-Nevada Annual Conference. It is the same amount that you would receive as a subsidy if you were enrolled in a conference group plan.

If you elected to add dental insurance, the annual cost of the premium will subtracted from the pre-loaded amount. $480 per individual/$900 per couple

Retirees who owe a large debt to the Board of Pensions for health insurance will forfeit their subsidy until the bill is paid. Each year, the subsidy amount will automatically be applied towards the balance.

Reimbursement Process

 If the retiree or spouse is unable to pay for a service using the ASi Debit Card, it may be necessary to submit a reimbursement request form and valid documentation, including:

  • Provider's name/info
  • Service(s) received or item(s) purchased
  • Date service(s) were rendered (DOS)
  • Amount of expense(s) incurred

Online Tool

In addition to being able to file claims online, eligible retirees can also:

  • Upload receipts and track expenses
  • View up-to-the minute account balances
  • Report a lost/stolen card and request a new one
  • Update your personal profile information
  • Change your login ID and/or password
  • View important account notifications.
Instructions for creating an online account:
  1.  Go to
  2. Under the heading New User? CLICK "Create your new username and password"
  3. Enter your name, zip code, and Social Security Number
  4. Create your new username and password and then create answers for the security questions
  5. After logging in, go to the "Profile" tab, verify your mailing address
  6. Enter your email address - this is the best way for ASi to communicate claims information or notifications to you.
